— John 4:14The I Thirst Project gathers Catholic young adults (ages 18–39) at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen for apologetics, prayer, friendship, and fellowship. We come together to dig deeper into the Catholic faith, to ask the hard questions, and to walk the journey of discipleship side by side.
I Thirst is a nonprofit ministry that began as a charity organization and grew into a wider Catholic community: apologetics, book club, men's and women's groups, faith and fitness, socials, retreats, and more.
We are based at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Whether you're firmly rooted or just curious, there's a seat for you at the table. Reach out if you want to join a group.

Praying the Rosary together in community — taking our prayer out into the world, one step at a time.
Reading and discussing books that help us grow in faith, friendship, and love for the Church.
Honoring God through our bodies. A community where we share faith and fitness progress, gather monthly, and encourage each other — 5K runs, volleyball, and more.
Brotherhood and sisterhood gatherings — faith, friendship, and honest conversation in good company.
Days set apart to encounter Christ — worship, talks from guest speakers, and time to be renewed in Him.
Paint nights, adoration, confession parties (then dinner!), hangouts — faith enjoyed together, real friendships built.
Community for adults 40 and beyond — growing in faith, defending the Church, and walking together.
We gather all year long — apologetics classes, book club, rosary walks, retreats, men's & women's groups, and socials. Rather than a fixed calendar, we post everything as it happens, so following along is the best way to catch what's coming up next.
